Bought a Napa Gold oil filter today for the 2016 3.5L and it says made in China on information technology.
Napa Aureate used to be Wixs filters. Peradventure Wix is now outsourcing to China?

even when branded made in u.s. many items are however legally produced outside the country and nonetheless legally brandish the characterization made in the states.

imho do yourself a favor and just buy the oem filter from toyota.

if buying something not american was a business of yours, why not own something similar f150 silverado or ram?? i hear jeep makes a beautiful 4x4

There's a big difference between buying an oil filter made in china and a truck made in mexico.
If the Chinese oil filter was made well, that's another story, this Napa filter looked really cheaply fabricated with hard cheap plastic ends and paper media.

So the indicate was if anyone has always used Napa Golden made by Wix, like I did, y'all might desire to cheque that.

What's the different between Thailand and China? Not much. Toyota is all the same going to have the same quality standards and asking the same textile and it must be made to their specifications. And so it really doesn't matter. And since they aren't fabricated in the U.s.a. I could care less if Toyota switches manufactures to China
